Settlement Agreements (Previously called 'compromise agreements') - Free Help
Has your employer suggested a settlement agreement? Are you interested in proposing financial terms for you to leave the business? Maybe you are facing disciplinary action or for whatever reason feel your employer no longer wants you as part of the business.
In these circumstances you and your employer may be interested in agreeing what is now called a settlement agreement (previously called a 'compromise agreement'). Essentially, it's a document prepared by lawyers whereby you give up rights to bring any claims against your employer. In exchange they offer you something in return - usually, compensation.
If you would like some advice on a draft agreement you've been given or on how to suggest an agreement to your employer, then you are welcome to call me for free advice on 07761 556631.
If you need a solicitor to advise you on the content of a draft agreement then I can see you at short notice. My fee is paid by your employer
